Zeus Renovations offers flooring and tiling services to homeowners across Cardiff as part of a wider renovation process. Every job starts with a free property visit, where we assess your requirements and take measurements to provide a no-obligation quotation.
Call 07479 551399, email us, or send an enquiry through our contact form and one of our friendly team members will be in touch to discuss your requirements.
We offer an expansive range of flooring and tiling services, built around the solutions Cardiff homeowners actually want. Just some of our options include:
Hardwood, Laminate, LVT and Carpet: Solid hardwood flooring for living rooms and hallways. Laminate as a cost-effective alternative; LVT (luxury vinyl) for kitchens, bathrooms, and busy family spaces; and carpet for bedrooms, living rooms and stairways.
Ceramic, Porcelain and Large-Format Tiling: Ceramic and porcelain tiling for kitchens, bathrooms, hallways and utility rooms, including large-format and slab tiles for a cleaner finish with fewer grout lines.
Natural Stone and Mosaic: Natural stone (marble, travertine, slate, limestone) and mosaic tiling for feature areas, bathrooms and splashbacks.
Underfloor Heating: We can tile or lay flooring over an existing underfloor heating system, or fit underfloor heating as part of the job.
Cardiff boasts a highly diverse housing stock, all with different features and quirks than need to be considered when planning new flooring.
Terraced housing makes up around a quarter of all homes in Wales, and Cardiff’s Victorian and Edwardian terraces in areas like Roath, Cathays, Canton and Pontcanna typically sit on solid concrete or original flagstone ground floors. On the other hand, areas such as Llanishen, Thornhill and Whitchurch have more newer semis and bungalows that tend to have suspended timber floors, which behave differently under flooring and tiling and need their own approach.
No matter what type of property you have or the base flooring they are composed of, our qualified experts visit your property to check the actual subfloor rather than offering the same generic advice and quoting for each property. We want you to be truly happy with the quality and price we offer and assessing your property free of charge enables us to do so.
Our fitter works to recognised industry standards, including The Tile Association’s technical guidance and British Standard BS 5385 for wall and floor tiling. Where underfloor heating or damp-proofing is part of the job, our work is 100% compliant with Welsh Building Regulations where they apply.
Every project starts with a free property consultation where we assess your requirements and take measurements.
Following the visit, you’ll get a bespoke quotation within 1-2 working days. We can itemise this quote upon request.
If you accept the quote, we'll prepare the floor, arrange waste collection, and then install your new flooring or tiling.
As part of the installation, we’ll grout and seal to prevent damage and ensure a long-lasting surface.
Once the installation has completed, we’ll review our work and create a snagging list. Any small issues identified will be actioned before we sign off.
Once the work is completed, we’ll let you review. Once you’re happy, we’ll sign off on the project and request payment in full.

If your Cardiff home no longer works the way you need it to, Zeus Renovations Cardiff can help you plan the next step. Book a Free Renovation Consultation and tell us about your property, your ideas and the work you are considering. We will give clear advice, arrange a property visit where suitable and provide an itemised written quote before any work begins.
It’s impossible to provide an exact estimate without visiting your property first as there’s a variety of factors that will impact pricing including the flooring you choose and how big the area is. Instead of quoting online, we visit, assess requirements and provide a quote within 1 to 2 working days.
Sometimes we can. Tiling over existing tiles can be done provided they’re firmly stuck, not hollow or loose anywhere, and properly prepared first. We assess the conditions of your current flooring and provide bespoke advice at the property so you know exactly what to expect.
For sure. We can tile over surfaces with underfloor heating so long as the correct adhesive as used.
Usually, yes, provided the existing system is in good condition and compatible with what’s going on top. We’ll check this at the property visit rather than assume it’ll be straightforward.
As a rough guide, carpet and laminate sit at the more affordable end, LVT (luxury vinyl) in the middle, and solid wood flooring towards the top, though quality varies a lot within each type. We’ll talk you through what suits your room and budget at the visit.
Nope. We don’t take any payment up front. The full amount is due on completion of the work once you’re satisfied.
We assist with flooring and tiling projects across Cardiff, with a particular focus on Whitchurch, Thornhill, Llanishen, Cyncoed, and Roath.
We’ll travel up to 15 miles for a standard installation and up to 25 miles for larger projects, with no travel charges within that range. If you’re just outside these areas, get in touch. We’re happy to have a chat about your project and let you know if we can help.
